RV 2J Group 5 CID: What is school life like in RVHS?

RECESS TIME

a) During the recess, most of the students seems happy as they are having their meal. There are chats and smiles all over the canteen. However, the noise level might be too high as there are also students studying in the canteen. Most of them look serious in doing their work and thus it would be inconsiderate if we make toooooo much noise in the canteen.

b) TALKING TO YEO SIMIN (20) 1J

Me: Today is Wednesday, how are you feeling?

Si Min (frowning): Me? Unhappy of course! I still have basketball training today... Argh!

Me: But Wednesday Yum Mee serves laksa.

Si Min (excited): Ya hor! I'm going to buy laksa!
... and off she went to Yum Mee, and left this interview ended...

CUT!!

So, in conclusion, she feels unhappy and stress having to go for basketball CCA training on Wednesday when she will reach home late , but is also happy that there is laksa on Wednesday at only $1.80!!

c) Yes, there are colourful posters hanging around the walls of the canteen, informing students of certain activities, and there is a new stall in River Valley! the stall is called 'Baker's Oven'. As you can guess, it sells freshly made bread and buns, or even burgers! the burgers cost only $1.20 while the buns cost $0.80! It's cheap!

d) Seriously? Everything in the canteen impresses me. But what impresses me most, I think, is the price of the food sold here in the canteen. It ranges from $0.80 to about $2.50. The food is so delicious, and the prices here are reasonable. $_$

e) I feel that RVians really like the recess time to an extent that most of them wants to increase the time for recess to about 15 more minutes... since the food is cheap, they tend to eat more and needed more time. However, some people don't like the canteen as there are droppings of some 'unwanted flying guest'. 0_0
